The CU Anschutz June Staff Employee of the Month is Colleen "Coco" Gardner, lab coordinator in the School of Dental Medicine.

Colleen goes above and beyond by always helping out. Here in Sterilization, we have been super short-staffed, and she comes down to help us, which is so appreciated, considering this isn't her department. I know she has her own stresses and personal life, and for her to always be a team player and show up for us means a lot. I can think of a time when I needed help in decon, and she came to my rescue. If some may not know, it's a tough part of the job doing decon alone. She deserves much recognition for all she does for this school, helping her coworkers when in need.
