Behind every discovery, every student success story and every patient served at CU Anschutz is a dedicated member of our faculty. This spring, 36 faculty members were honored for reaching a remarkable milestone: 25 years of service to our campus and community.
At the annual 25-Year Faculty Reception on April 15, colleagues and loved ones gathered to celebrate the lasting contributions of these researchers, educators and providers for decades of impact at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and its predecessor, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
“Tonight, we thank you,” Chancellor Don Elliman said, “not only for your service but for all you have done and continue to do to unlock our tremendous potential as a campus and a community.”
Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs Roderick Nairn, PhD, echoed the sentiment as he presented each attending honoree with a commencement medal as a symbol of tradition and enduring excellence.
“Faculty truly are at the center of all we do and the lifeblood of any institution of higher education,” Nairn said.
