E. Seth Kramer, DO, MPH, Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz, presented at a “Dementia: Early Detection and Prevention” community event at the Summit County Community & Senior Center in Frisco, Colorado.

Dr. Kramer led an interactive presentation on early detection, risk factors, and warning signs of dementia, followed by a patient-caregiver panel discussion.

The free, public 90-minute program was organized by Elevated Community Health with grant support from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

The event was also featured in The Summit Daily News, where Dr. Kramer emphasized the importance of recognizing symptoms and connecting with a primary care provider for early detection.

“We hear about dementia, it comes up often, but from a patient standpoint, it’s still hard to understand — what do I do with this?” Dr. Kramer said. “It’s an ever-changing field, and it’s improving in terms of how we diagnose it.”
