Excitement ran high on CU Anschutz Match Day as medical students in the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Rural Program discovered where they will begin the next chapter of their training. Cheers, applause, and a sense of anticipation filled the room as medical students opened their Match Day envelopes. Surrounded by friends, family, and members of the Rural Program team, students gathered to celebrate a defining milestone in their medical careers.
The University of Colorado School of Medicine Rural Program matriculated around 20 students into the Class of 2026. With some students shifting between the class of 2025 and 2027, this year resulted in 18 students matching to various programs across the country.
Congratulations to all our Rural Program graduating seniors! The Department of Family Medicine looks forward to seeing where your careers take you as you begin this exciting next chapter.
