Care@Work: Platform Helps Balance Demands Facing Workforce, Students

Written by Staff | October 01, 2020

Life. It’s complicated. In 2020, the complications have been taken up a notch.

Finding the right care for your family can be difficult, and COVID-19 has created new challenges for all of us. The CU Anschutz Medical Campus is committed to helping our faculty, staff and full-time students with a new family care program to help you balanc

e professional demands while caring for your loved ones at home.

Why? Because we all need a bit of extra help to navigate this difficult time.

Through a partnership with Care@Work by Care.com, CU Anschutz is providing Care.com subscription memberships to the Care.com platform. Members have access to a network of care providers, and are able to locate, manage and pay for services including childcare, senior care, nannies, tutors, pet sitters and more.

Members can also take advantage of tuition discounts at participating childcare centers. In addition, backup care for children and adults is available to eligible employees, providing vetted and subsidized care when regular, planned care is unavailable due to COVID-19.

Please check out your eligibility and enroll here. Also, see the campus-wide announcement sent on Sept. 30.
