The recent Food and Drug Administration approval of the nasal spray Narcan is good news for music festival attendees hoping to carry the medication in case they witness an opioid overdose.
Given the increase of fentanyl-laced substances, organizers of many of the world’s largest festivals have announced that attendees will now be permitted to bring unopened Narcan kits with them to put more “boots on the ground” that could help save lives.
