Town Hall Set on SCOTUS Affirmative Action Decision

From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 20, a panel of key campus leaders will discuss the U.S. Supreme Court decision handed down in June prohibiting universities from considering race as a factor in college admissions.

Chancellor Don Elliman and Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Community Engagement Regina Richards, PhD, will join the panel in discussing how the SCOTUS decision could impact University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus diversity efforts.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit questions to help shape the dialogue and identify areas of concern for the virtual event. Deadline for question submissions is 5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15.
