Eighth Colorado child dies from influenza amid harsh respiratory season

“Any loss of life from influenza is terrible. And we know this year has been a severe influenza season,” said Josh Williams, a pediatrician at Denver Health and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. “I think it just highlights the severity of influenza and the way that we try as pediatricians to really counsel our families on the potential illness that can happen,” he said.
