The University of Colorado Anschutz Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated the accomplishments of its graduate students during the 2026 Graduation Celebration and MS Student Hooding Ceremony, honoring graduates receiving Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Faculty, family members, friends, and classmates gathered to recognize the dedication, scholarship, and perseverance of the graduating class as students marked an important milestone in their academic and professional journeys.
The ceremony opened with introductory remarks from Manisha Patel, PhD, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies, who welcomed attendees, reflected on the significance of the occasion and commended graduates for their resilience, curiosity and persistence. Dean Brian Tsuji, PharmD, delivered welcome remarks and congratulated graduates on their achievements and contributions to the CU Pharmacy community.
Krishna Mallela, PhD, Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD Program Associate Director shared remarks on behalf of the graduate program leadership, recognizing the hard work and resilience demonstrated by students throughout their graduate education.
David Kroll, PhD, Director of the Master’s Degree and Certificate Programs in Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences introduced and hooded the graduates receiving Master of Science degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The ceremony also featured remarks from Madison Crepeau, MA, Associate Director of Alumni Relations, who welcomed graduates into the CU Pharmacy alumni community with a gift and encouraged them to remain connected as they begin the next chapter of their careers.
The event concluded with final remarks from Program Administrator Isabella Jaramillo, who proudly stewarded the students along with Cora Allen throughout their graduate journeys and helped them with course selections, thesis meetings, events and graduation requirements.
