CU Anschutz Pharmacy Inducts New Honor Society Members

The annual induction ceremony for the Alpha Theta Chapter of Rho Chi at the University of Colorado Anschutz Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences brought together students and faculty to recognize academic achievement and commitment to the pharmacy profession. The event marked an important milestone for the newly inducted members, highlighting their hard work and dedication while also celebrating the values of leadership, scholarship, and service that define Rho Chi. 

Associate Professor and Assistant Dean Shaun Gleason, PharmD,  kicked off the evening with opening remarks and a welcome to attendees. Associate Professor Sara Wettergreen, PharmD, gave an overview of the chapter's activities and achievements over the last year. Ty Kiser, PharmD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, served as the guest speaker for the event.

Dr. Sara Wettergreen and Assistant Professor Brian Murray, PharmD,  serve as the Rho Chi faculty advisors. The Rho Chi Society is the national academic honor society for pharmacy in the United States. Founded in 1922, it recognizes superior intellectual achievement, encourages critical inquiry, and promotes the highest ethical standards in the pharmaceutical sciences.
