CU Pharmacy at Homecoming

Written by Stephanie Carlson | November 01, 2017

Around 70 alumni, students, faculty and staff with the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences paraded the grounds of the University of Colorado Boulder campus to support the CU Buffs football team as they played against the California Golden Bears, Sat., Oct. 28th for this year's homecoming weekend.

Starting with a 9 a.m. reunion tailgate in the Benson Earth Sciences Field on the Boulder campus, the event marked the second reunion of the Class of 1976 with about a dozen attending from the bicentennial year. Other alums, students, faculty and staff also showed up for the event. The tailgate was a lot of fun and the Buffs went on to beat the Bears 44-28!

The annual homecoming tailgate and game is one of the heavily attended events coordinated by CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy to help keep alumni and students engaged. Look out for next year's event, including opportunities for students to win tickets.  Also consider the homecoming tailgate and game as a tag-on to future alumni reunions. We look forward to everyone's participation next year. And many thanks to those who came out in support of the event this year.
