July Staff Employee of the Month

The CU Anschutz July Staff Employee of the Month is Ryan Grip, manager of business operations in the Department of Pediatrics - Colorado Springs.

It is with great enthusiasm that I nominate Ryan Grip for Employee of the Month. Ryan is always putting in extra hours and volunteering to take on projects to improve quality of life for faculty and staff. He goes out of his way to help and anticipates the needs of the faculty. His knowledge and reports have led the way and are being adopted by other business managers. Ryan pursues the success of not only the Department of Pediatrics but also affiliates of Children's Hospital Colorado. He has developed a number of department initiatives including incentive programs, a strategy to improve recruitment and retention in Colorado Springs. He champions the vision for the mission of Pediatrics in Colorado Springs and inspires coworkers to excellence.

Ryan brings endless energy to supporting his team and always has a positive attitude. He has a strong work ethic and responds to messages and emails in a timely manner. He creates a positive team environment and ensures good communication. Ryan has created great relationships with physicians and is always available when they want to stop by and ask questions.

Ryan is a model employee and should be celebrated.
