At the IASLC 2024 World Conference on Lung Cancer, University of Colorado Cancer Center member Jamie L. Studts, PhD, highlighted his research on lung cancer screening in Kentucky, emphasizing the need for quality implementation through the QUILS™ system, which includes assessment, feedback, and community engagement. He noted that while technical aspects of screening were being addressed, improvements are needed in person-centered approaches and building trust to normalize lung cancer screening in communities.
