Cooking with gas could create in-home air pollution

“It’s not comparing apples to apples when you’re comparing methane from a stove to methane from a tailpipe, for example,” said Anthony Gerber, a pulmonologist with National Jewish Health [and professor of medicine at CU School of Medicine]. “Even though you say it’s the nitrogen oxide causing the problem, it’s still a different chemical mix.”
