A study in ERs and ICUs, which included UCHealth, found that using BiPAP machines instead of oxygen masks before intubation lowered the risk of low oxygen and cardiac arrest. UCHealth leaders are now expanding the use of BiPAP treatments at other UCHealth hospitals.
