Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Cleveland Piggott, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a recent recipient of the 2023 Recent Graduate Achievement Award for the CU Medical Alumni Association.
This award honors recent graduates (past 15 years) who demonstrate outstanding achievements benefiting their communities, practice of medicine, and the provision of healthcare.
"I'm truly humbled to receive this award. One of the best decisions I made was ranking the University of Colorado Residency Program #1 on my list as it set me down a path to learn from, be inspired by, and work with incredible people (most of them in our department). Anything I've ever accomplished, that was worthwhile, has been because of an incredible team and people believing in me. I look forward to continuing to work with these great people to help others achieve health and wellbeing,” says Cleveland.
