Thanks to the hard work of the HOMER team, the Special Report “The Odyssey of HOMER: Comparative Effectiveness Research on Medication for Opioid Use Disorder During the COVID-19 Pandemic” appears in the just-released issue of Annals of Family Medicine.

According to HOMER co-Principal Investigator Linda Zittleman, MSPH, "this publication is a reflection of the commitment, creativity, and skills of this entire partnership. I am proud of this team and excited to share the experiences captured in this manuscript. I know that many others will be inspired by and use the approaches we used as they face future challenges and need to adjust course."

HOMER is led by the Department of Family Medicine’s Linda Zittleman, MSPH, Senior Instructor, and Don Nease, MD, Professor of Family Medicine. The study is working with the AAFP National Research Network / DARTNet and the HOMER Community Advisory Council, a group of patients, clinicians, other health professionals, and concerned community members who guide and inform all aspects of this study.
