"The Inbox Clinician: An Agile Member of the Care Team"
Emily Lines, MD; Rachel Rodriguez, MD, FAAFP; Aimee English, MD; and Sean Oser, MD, MPH are co-authors for the featured cover-article in the most recent edition of FPM Magazine. "The Inbox Clinician: An Agile Member of the Care Team" explores the inherent benefits of having a clinical team member whose time is split 50-50 between inbox cross coverage and acute care. This practice can reduce physician burden while increasing patient access.
The authors are all professors in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Lines and Dr. English practice at the A.F. Williams Family Medicine clinic in Denver. Dr. Rodriguez and Dr. Oser practice at UCHealth Primary Care – Lone Tree in Lone Tree, CO. All were involved in developing or expanding the Inbox Clinician program.
