Chloe Finke, BS, C-TAGME, Lead Program Coordinator, has been appointed as the new Chair Elect of the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine Program Coordinator Council (PCC).
The mission of the Program Coordinators Council (PCC) is to provide coordinators a platform to exchange, develop and implement ideas and to foster communication between Program Coordinators, Program Directors and the Office of Graduate Medical Education to ensure the success of residency and fellowship training programs.
When asked how she felt about being nominated and entering this role Chloe says, “I have been part of the community this counsel represents for over 5 years, so I look forward to supporting our system's Program Coordinators with this opportunity.” She explains that as Chair Elect, this position will, “allow me to help support Program Coordinators outside of my program and department, which I find very fulfilling.”
Chloe will be guiding over 110 programs for the entirety of the CU Graduate Medical Education (GME). Within her position, she will lead with the mission of creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and support among Program Coordinators, while fostering and encouraging opportunities for their professional growth.
Chloe describes what she hopes to accomplish diving into this new role, “in our virtual world, support for each other looks different than it did before and is ever-evolving. This means adapting our current events to meet the needs of the Program Coordinators. The Program Coordinator's role can vary depending on the department or program they work within, and many don't work directly with other coordinators, so [I’ll be] working to improve the support we can provide for each other.”
Congrats, Chloe!
