E. Seth Kramer, DO, MPH, Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, served as a panelist at the Denver State of Diabetes, hosted by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in recognition of World Diabetes Day on November 14.

The State of Diabetes is an annual event that brings together employers, healthcare professionals, industry leaders, payers, and community members. It features a panel of healthcare experts who drive conversations on improving diabetes care, workplace wellness, and advocacy efforts. The program includes discussions on the challenges of diabetes and obesity, their economic impact on individuals and businesses, and concludes with a networking session.

Dr. Kramer highlighted the event’s success, noting the impressive participation and meaningful dialogue, “We had an excellent turnout, including patients, employers, diabetes organizations, and healthcare professionals, all coming together to discuss the current and future approaches to managing diabetes and obesity.”
