Along with colleague, Erin Hammer, MD, MPH, from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health - Sidhar examines risk factors leading to injuries in runners and highlights evidence-based recommendations for prevention.

Dr. Sidhar is originally from Michigan.

He came to the Department of Family Medicine’s Sports Medicine Fellowship in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It was a slower start to the year than normal. But, our Spring was very busy,” he says.

Dr. Sidhar is wrapping up his fellowship and will soon join his wife in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He says that he enjoyed his Colorado experience and that the trek West was definitely worth it.

“This has been a great place to train.”

Best of luck to you, Kartik and congratulations
