Department of Family Medicine human resources guru, Deanna Schroder has a new accomplishment to add to her resume.
She is a nationally published author.
It all started at home. Deanna was enjoying a glass of wine and shuttling through blog posts on the Grown and Flown website – a clearing house of resources and support for parents who are navigating the waters of sending their children off to college and life.
Having just recently – and successfully, we might add – seen her own daughter through the transition of moving away from home to college, she felt moved to share her sage advice with other parents. So, she got down to writing, hit send, and not long after was contacted and asked if Grown and Flown could publish her post.
Of course, she said YES!
