Earning a graduate degree or graduate certificate is more than just an academic milestone—it is the culmination of years of dedication, resilience, and personal growth. Graduate programs demand an extraordinary level of commitment, often requiring students to balance coursework, research, professional responsibilities, and personal lives. Graduation celebrations serve as a meaningful “rite of passage,” marking the transition from student to expert and honoring the perseverance it took to reach this point. These moments allow graduates to pause, reflect on their journey, and recognize the support of mentors, colleagues, friends, and family who helped them succeed.

We hope all our graduates pause and reflect on this milestone they have accomplished for themselves.

It symbolizes not only the completion of an academic chapter but the beginning of new opportunities—career advancement, leadership roles, and deeper contributions to one’s field. At its core, honoring you, the graduate is about more than the degree itself—it is a celebration of growth, expertise, and the exciting path that lies ahead.

We wish all our graduates new palliative care and hospice paths that lead to new avenues of clinical practice…SO together, we can continue to improve quality care for those living with serious illness in our communities where we live, work and play.

We celebrate each and every one of you!
