Dedicating one’s days and nights to treating people who are sick, injured and suffering is not in a typical job description. It’s a calling – one that the faculty, staff and students who power the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus answer every day. And it’s this very concept that underpins the campus’s latest installment of its “This Is Breakthrough” marketing campaign.
“It’s a Calling,” as the commercial is titled, debuts this week on television, online, at Denver International Airport and on outdoor displays around the Denver metro area. Nearly a dozen members of our faculty and staff are featured in the spot, representing a snapshot of work and life on the front lines of patient care, innovation and discovery.
