In recognition of World Cancer Day, we talk with Ross Camidge, MD, PhD, professor and director of thoracic oncology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and member of the CU Cancer Center.
Given the CU Cancer Center’s strong track record of treating lung cancer patients, Camidge knows the center has a remarkable story to tell. He is chronicling that story – as well as the wider story of worldwide lung cancer research – in a forthcoming book. In this Q&A, he talks about that project as well as the reasons behind CU’s success in lung cancer research.
