“I have never been more proud to work alongside you,” said Chancellor Donald Elliman in a recent communiqué to students, faculty and staff at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. “We continue to demonstrate incredible strength in unity as we address this unprecedented challenge together.”
From leading statistical modeling efforts, to helping inform the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to spearheading a potential therapy trial, to prioritizing mental health resources for the broader community – all while clinical faculty and staff risk their lives to deliver care to those in need – the people powering CU Anschutz and its partners Children’s Hospital Colorado and UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital “are leading the charge to a brighter tomorrow,” Elliman said.
That spirit of campus collaboration, innovation and resilience in the face of the virus’ unprecedented global impact has been captured in a new spot that begins airing on TV and in digital spaces on April 13.
The spot was produced as part of the “This Is Breakthrough” series that documents the remarkable talent and groundbreaking work taking place at CU Anschutz. It was created to provide hope, inspiration and reassurance to Coloradans and our regional neighbors that throughout this crisis and beyond, the CU Anschutz Medical Campus will continue to lead a united effort to protect the health and safety of our people and our communities.
