CU System announces a $225 million investment across all four campuses. The investment at CU Anschutz will focus on advancing research, diversity, equity and inclusion, campus technology and infrastructure.

This week the University of Colorado announced plans to accelerate the implementation of its 2021-2026 strategic plan and campus strategic goals. The targeted investments are made possible through an allocation of one-time funding resulting from significant returns on university investments.

For CU Anschutz, this investment will not only support the campus’ critical health science missions in research, education, and innovation, but also work to support the strategic initiatives released last month including diversity, equity, inclusion and access, as well as campus technology and infrastructure.

“This investment by CU system on the heels of announcing our strategic initiatives is a strong opportunity for our campus,” said Chancellor Don Elliman. “It accelerates that work as we focus on the next stage of our growth, while giving us some resources to continue to push boundaries in bettering human health. I look forward to the positive impact this investment will have on our students, faculty, and staff on campus, in addition to our patients and the communities we serve.”
