You've made it! Graduation is a significant achievement. It's something all our graduates (and alumni) should be proud of, and we hope you look back fondly on your time at CU Nursing.
Your dedication to nursing will serve you in the years to come and we know you will deliver the utmost care to patients in Colorado, across the U.S., and around the world. CU Nursing graduates go on to do great things, and we hope to see you back on campus or virtually if you pursue a higher degree at the college.
Spring graduation is Monday, May 20 at Bonfils Circle (in front of the Fitzsimons Building). We hope to see you there as we celebrate your accomplishments and your new degree. Congratulations again from the faculty and staff at the College of Nursing.
Student Stories
The college is highlighting only a fraction of our graduates about the ways CU Nursing shaped their education and career, and why they are passionate about nursing. Shashalee Sangster was inspired to attend CU Nursing because of the college's first Black student nurse, Jourdan Thompson wanted to find a sense of purpose after leaving the Marines, and Tiersa Pialet is continuing her family legacy by dedicating her career to helping veterans get access to care. Other graduates include Lena Truong, who is the first person in her family to earn a college degree, and Kristen Gallagher who was dead set on not becoming a nurse but now can't imagine having a different career.
