Furuta, Jonen Selected for CU Medicine Finance Committee, Wilkening Appreciated

The new members of the Finance Committee with CU Medicine were announced beginning this month with Nanette Santoro, MD (Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology) as the new chair, joined by Neill Epperson, MD (Professor, Chair of Psychiatry), Glenn Furuta, MD (Professor and Section Head, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition) and Katie Dean (DFA for Orthopedics). Mike Jonen (Vice Chair for Finance and Administration) was selected for a second term. 

Randy Wilkening, MD (Professor and Section Head, Neonatology), completed his second term on the Committee and will rotate off due to term limits. Dr. Wilkening has been a consistent advocate for the Department of Pediatrics and individual practitioners. He has served in various elected leadership positions for over 35 years, including on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Colorado Medical Services Foundation.
