The University of Colorado’s Department of Pediatrics is thrilled to announce that two of its faculty, Allison Silverstein, MD, MS, and Adam B. Hill, MD, have both been invited to serve on the Inaugural Pediatric Council of AAHPRM (American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine).
This national leadership council is comprised of eight chosen leaders throughout the country, and we are honored that we have two representatives from Children’s Hospital Colorado. Each will be serving a three-year term through 2026.
Within their roles, each will further the AAHPRM’s core mission of advancing hospice and palliative medicine through enhanced learning, cultivation of knowledge and innovation, strengthening the workforce and advocating for public policy.
Allison Silverstein, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor, Pediatrics-Palliative Medicine at the CU School of Medicine Anschutz Medical Campus.
Adam B. Hill, MD, is the inaugural Section Head of the Section of Palliative Medicine for the Department of Pediatrics.
