The CU Anschutz April 2025 Employee of the Month is Britney Ross, data coordinator for the Cancer Clinical Trials Office at the CU Cancer Center.
Read Britney's nominating statement:
She is our most experienced Data Coordinator and has an absolutely outstanding work ethic – she continually goes above and beyond her job responsibilities. She has trained the majority of our staff and is the first person everyone goes to on our team if we ever have a data question. She is extremely organized, knowledgeable, kind and a wonderful coworker. On top of everything she does for our specific team, she has also spearheaded process improvements that the entire department has adopted and has been instrumental in all of our team's audits. Britney routinely exceeds all expectations, and she is extremely deserving of this honor.
Britney has been on our team as a data coordinator for about 3 years and consistently goes above and beyond. She always takes on more than her fair share of the work, whether that be through training staff (not only on our team, but also on other teams in our office), developing process improvement strategies (figuring out other ways to get de-identified scans to studies), coordinating FDA audits, and all the while maintaining her own data entry responsibilities. She always ensures data quality and cares SO much about the work she puts out. Her efforts are essential, not only to our site, but to the research industries she enters data for. Through all of this, Britney remains humble about her abilities, no matter how many times I tell her our team would not survive without her! I cannot think of someone more deserving of this recognition.
