There's a new lunch option on campus! Fields Grains & Greens has opened in the former Robeks location in Research 2, serving made-from-scratch salads and grain bowls.
The signature bowls draw on places the founders love, from Colorado wheat country to the tea terraces of Japan to the Baja coast. Guests can also build their own bowl starting at $9.95, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free choices.
Fields emphasizes fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients, with greens chopped daily, sourdough baked in-house and dressings, marinades and signature toppings prepared on site.
“Our best meals have been while traveling, when we slow down and enjoy them. We wanted to recreate those moments through our bowls: bright, crunchy and a little unexpected,” said Kirsten Bowen, co-founder of Fields. “Simple is never easy, so we make our own.”
The menu will keep growing over the next couple of months, and catering is coming soon.
