The CU Anschutz March Staff Employee of the Month is Kim Santamaria, executive assistant in the College of Nursing.

Kim Santamaria has been a valued member of the College of Nursing for nearly five years, serving as the Executive Assistant to the Dean. In this role, she demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, adaptability and keen attention to detail while managing a wide range of responsibilities. Kim consistently balances complex schedules, competing deadlines and diverse requests, ensuring the Dean is fully prepared for each commitment. As noted by Dean Elias, she manages his needs exceptionally well and keeps him on track, thereby directly contributing to the college's success.
One of Kim’s standout strengths is her reliability and proactive follow‑through on tasks and requests. She communicates clearly and consistently, keeping scheduling processes moving forward and ensuring all parties remain informed. Kim is also deeply supportive of students, responding thoughtfully to inquiries and connecting them with the appropriate resources within the college. Known across the college as friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, Kim brings professionalism, dedication and a positive attitude to every interaction. Her poise and commitment make her a trusted and essential resource for faculty, staff and students alike, and a strong supporter of the Dean and the college’s mission.
