The CU Anschutz September Staff Employee of the Month is Melinda Jultak, operations program assistant in the College of Nursing.

Melinda is, simply put, the heart of the Experiential Learning Team. Melinda consistently
goes above and beyond to ensure the success of our nursing students’ clinical experiences
and the smooth functioning of our team. Her dedication, responsiveness and genuine care
for others make her an invaluable asset to the College of Nursing.
Melinda is exceptional at anticipating needs and providing proactive updates, often resolving issues before they ever become problems. Whether coordinating with faculty, supporting staff or guiding students, she approaches every interaction with professionalism and kindness. Her responsiveness ensures that employees and students feel heard and cared for, even during the semester's busiest and most complex times.
One of Melinda’s greatest strengths is her willingness to step in wherever she is needed. She does not hesitate to take on extra responsibilities and troubleshoot unexpected challenges. Her tireless work ethic and positive attitude set the tone for collaboration across the Experiential Learning Team and beyond. She consistently demonstrates a student-centered mindset, always keeping the needs of nursing students at the forefront of her efforts. There are many moving parts to the clinical experiences of various prelicensure and graduate students, and the clinical education faculty support those experiences. It is complex and demanding, but Melinda excels at keeping all these processes running smoothly.
Her work ensures that our nursing students can focus on their clinical experiences and clinical faculty can focus on educating without unnecessary barriers, knowing that the logistical and operational details are in excellent hands. Melinda makes everything run better, and she does so with modesty and grace.
