CU Anschutz staff members who reached milestone years of service of 10 years or greater were honored at the Staff Years of Service Reception on May 21.
This year, we celebrated 313 staff members who passed the decade mark in 2024. In fact, eight staff members surpassed 30 years as of last year:

- Kelley Brodsky, Division of Cardiology
- David Cervera, Office of Information Technology
- Okyong Cho, CU Cancer Center
- Pamela Garl, CU Cancer Center
- Amber Humbert, CU Anschutz Police
- Steven Stelzer, Office of Information Technology
- Jennifer Weber, School of Medicine
“CU Anschutz is a massive enterprise ‒ one that requires the talent and hard work of thousands every day,” said Chancellor Don Elliman. “To those who advance research in our labs and care in our clinics, keep our programs strong and our technology at the cutting edge, and keep our campus safe and our operations running smoothly, thank you.”
Executive Vice Chancellor of Administration & Finance and CFO Terri Carrothers said, “It is your hard work and commitment that have forged our culture of collaboration and our entrepreneurial spirit. We are proud of the difference you make here every day, and of your many contributions that have ripple effects for all those we serve.”
Honorees and their supervisors enjoyed live music from Thunder Hill Jazz Band, as well as treats and giveaways, as a thank you for their dedication. All CU Anschutz staff members who reach milestone anniversaries of 5 or more years receive a commemorative CU Anschutz certificate honoring their service.
