Psilocybin therapy enters major trial to reduce fear and depression in advanced cancer patients

CU Cancer Center researchers have launched a large clinical trial testing in partnership with NYU whether a single guided psilocybin session, paired with structured therapy, can ease anxiety, depression, and fear of death in people with advanced cancer who have not found relief with standard treatments.
