Eduardo Davila, PhD, Associate Director of Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) and a professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, is pioneering research in cancer immunotherapy. His team has developed a groundbreaking technique to rejuvenate T-cells, enhancing their ability to target and destroy cancer cells. Davila's work focuses on advancing tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy, which has shown promising results in treating cancers like head, neck, and lung cancers. His latest project, supported by the Anschutz Acceleration Initiative, aims to further improve cellular cancer immunology and expand treatment options for patients.
