Health Links® recognizes Colorado employers dedicated to advancing workplace health, safety, and well-being annually. At this year's event, Celebrating Healthy Workplaces, Health Links honored award winners and finalists for their remarkable achievements. The event provided attendees with a unique and exciting opportunity to learn from successful business leaders and peers and collaborate with like-minded professionals. Throughout the event, participants explored services and programs aimed at helping them achieve workplace health, safety, and well-being goals.

Governor Jared Polis officially proclaimed August 22, 2024, the day of the annual celebration, Colorado's Day of Total Worker Health®, underscoring the official recognition of this important initiative. Read the entire Proclamation here.

"Organizations in our Healthy Workplace Network continue to be Total Worker Health (TWH) leaders. With their unwavering dedication and commitment, this year's Healthy Workplace Award finalists and winners have significantly advanced occupational health and safety," said Health Links senior manager of programs and partnerships, David Shapiro. "Join us in celebrating our 2024 Award winners as they demonstrate the cornerstone practices of Total Worker Health." Their commitment to this approach reassures us of a healthier and safer workplace future.

We not only celebrated achievements at this year’s event but also aimed to make a meaningful impact on mental health. One of the highlights was a volunteer activity in partnership with Project Helping, a non-profit organization based in Centennial, Colorado. Project Helping promotes volunteering as a form of meaningful self-care. During the event, attendees assembled 'Mental Health Kits' for individuals facing mental health challenges. This act of kindness and support demonstrates the power of collective action in improving mental health. These kits will be donated to partner organizations by Project Helping, further extending the reach of Health Links' efforts.
