The annual U.S. News Best Children's Hospitals rankings were introduced in 2007 and offers guidance for families of children seeking the best medical care for rare or life-threatening illnesses. The top 50 medical centers are ranked in 10 specialties surveyed on nearly 2,000 data questions as well as a reputation survey sent to thousands of pediatric specialists nationwide.
