UCHealth to establish a Vulnerable Elder Protection Team

With support from the Colorado Department of Public Safety, and in partnership with the Division of Geriatrics, Drs. Lindberg and Yannetsos will establish a statewide Vulnerable Elder Protection Team (VEPT). One of only a few such teams in the country, this program will leverage the success of our world-class forensic nurse examiner program and the model of the child protection team, established at the University of Colorado more than 50 years ago.
