The AWCHC has officially opened as of August 22, 2024. Located at 1300 S. Potomac, Suite 122, Aurora, CO 80012, the health center provides comprehensive and accessible healthcare services to enhance the health and well-being of the Aurora community.
When asked about the first few weeks in operation, Practice Manager Candice Borgonah shared: "We are excited to have our presence in the underserved community and be available to improve health care access to all age groups across the community. Everything has been going smoothly, since we opened our door to see patients. The support and collaboration from several departments, facilitated us in delivering optimal patient care, starting with our first patient. We have amazing providers and staff who look forward to continuing our journey of providing excellent patient care to the community." And Patient Services Representative Benjamin Simonovichmoseli said: "The first few days of seeing patients were amazing and couldn't have run any smoother. Patients were super grateful to establish care and to be seen earlier and were grateful we were here. I am happy to finally be running and seeing patients and helping to make a difference in the community moving forward."
