The University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency’s Rural Training Track (RTT) has made a lot of waves recently in the pages of its host community’s newspaper- The Fort Morgan Times.

In September, RTT was featured in an article introducing the new residents to the community.

And, in early October, Colorado Governor Jared Polis hosted a roundtable in Fort Morgan where he learned of the value that the RTT is bringing to the eastern plains, the impact it is having in training family medicine practitioners in a rural settings, and the community benefits resulting from increased access to quality primary care.
