On Friday March 21, 2025, The University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine (CUSOM) and Department of Family Medicine (DFM) celebrated the highly anticipated annual event known as “Match Day.” This monumental event marks a pivotal point in a medical student's journey, where they find out where they have been accepted and matched into a residency program.
We are proud to welcome the incoming interns who will be joining the Family Medicine residency program this summer. The 11 residents were chosen out of 128 applicants that applied this year, most being from out of state.
Chloe Finke, BS, C-TAGME, Lead Residency Coordinator for the DFM, highlighted the admirable work and dedication the residents and faculty put into making this process a success.
“Our residents and faculty are instrumental in making our interviews possible by meeting with our 128 applicants in the 7 weeks we interview. Getting to this point involved over 500 individual interviews to help us make our rank list. We are excited to welcome the new class of future family medicine doctors to our program.”
Cheers to the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency Class of 2028!
