Congratulations Spring 2025 CU Nursing Graduates!

CU College of Nursing Commencement & Graduation

Congratulations on graduating!  We're so excited to celebrate this special milestone during our Spring 2025 Commencement Ceremony.

Your hard work and passion for nursing will take you far, and we know you'll provide exceptional care to patients in Colorado, across the US, and beyond. CU Nursing graduates go on to do amazing things, and we hope you'll stay connected with us to let us know what you've accomplished.

Spring Commencement is Monday, May 19, on the Anschutz Medical Campus. We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate your accomplishments and your new degree with your family and friends. All our graduates (and alumni) should be proud of this exciting achievement, and we hope you look back fondly on your time at CU Nursing.

Congratulations again from the faculty and staff at the College of Nursing!

Honoring a CU Nursing Trailblazer

Dr. Loretta Ford, co-founder of the country's first nurse practitioner program and CU Nursing alumna, passed away in December at the age of 104. Dr. Ford created the program at CU Nursing in 1965 with Dr. Henry Silver from the School of Medicine. CU Nursing is honoring Dr. Ford's vision and important contribution to the nursing profession during commencement. The college will have special buttons for graduates to wear, and there will be a tribute during the all-campus convocation. Dr. Ford transformed the nursing profession, and we are looking forward to remembering her life and legacy.

CU Nursing Spring Commencement

CU Nursing has both printed and digital versions of the commencement publication highlighting personal stories along with the names of our undergraduates and graduate students, their honors, thesis titles, and accomplishments.
