(May 6, 2020) -- "COVID-19 is unlike anything I've seen in 20 years as an experienced nurse," said (Laura) Rosenthal, a registered nurse at University of Colorado Hospital and a professor at the college's nursing school. Rosenthal emphasized the unique nature of the virus, how she's seen it affect patients of all ages, from 25 to 99. (May 6, 2020) -- Demand for nurses continues, especially during this pandemic. “We are still seeing that… need. I think now more than ever,” said Laura Rosenthal, who has worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years, and in Colorado as a Nurse Practitioner for 14 years. Rosenthal serves as the Vice President of the Colorado Nurses Association, is the Colorado State Representative to the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She is also an Assistant Dean for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at the University of Colorado College of Nursing. - 9News Nursing student prepare to graduate during pandemic.
