AURORA, Colo. (June 19, 2025) – The University of Colorado College of Nursing at Anschutz Medical Campus is proud to announce Senior Assistant Dean of Academic Operations Laura Rosenthal, DNP, ACNP, FAANP, and Assistant Professor Sean Reed, PhD, APRN, ACNS-BC, ACHNP, AHN-BC, FCNS, SGAHN, are recognized as the American Academy of Nursing’s Class of 2025 Fellows.
The American Academy of Nursing Fellows represents accomplished nursing leaders who are honored for their contributions to health and healthcare. Drs. Rosenthal and Reed will bring their nursing expertise to a group of more than 3,200 Fellows with the goal of advancing the Academy’s mission of improving healthcare through policy, leadership, innovation, and science.

This year’s cohort includes representatives from 42 states. In 2025, Rosenthal and Reed are the only two Fellows recognized from Colorado. The 2025 Class of Fellows will be recognized at the Academy’s annual Health Policy Conference, October 16-18, 2025, in Washington, DC.
