Mile High Living: Legislation on Accessible AEDs Across Colorado High Schools

Dr. Chris Rausch and Eric Heydorn (of the American Heart Association) highlighted the recent Colorado state legislation requiring accessible AEDs across the state’s high schools. In the last two years, 70 teens in Colorado suffered cardiac arrest. The use of an AED within the first minute after arrest improves the chance of survival by 90%.
