Dr. Miyamoto's top priorities as the new section head include the advancement of cardiology and the Heart Institute within Children's Hospital Colorado, continuing to mentor and develop the team, and expanding research programs. As the new section head, Shelley is entrusted with a support package that will enable targeted growth and further development of the section’s clinical, research and academic programs. We appreciate the support of John Reilly, MD, (Dean, University of Colorado School of Medicine) and Jena Hausmann (CEO, Children’s Hospital Colorado) who have generously partnered with the Department of Pediatrics in support of Dr. Miyamoto’s selection as section head.
