“There unfortunately is a higher percentage of patients that are already diagnosed with various mental health difficulties in terms of anxiety and depression,” Dr. Rochelle Cason-Wilkerson, a nutrition and weight manager provider with Children’s Hospital Colorado [and assistant professor of pediatrics at CU School of Medicine], said.  “That adds to how they’re eating and their ability to get exercise or motivation to exercise.”
