In an editorial accompanying the study, Sean O’Leary, of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, and Lece Webb, of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, said that the study offered “encouraging signs” for the overall immunization infrastructure -- while also highlighting important gaps.
